    lack of amenities
    cold shower

So while the location is decent, i was appalled by the lack of a microwave to heat up my food, even though i was granted permission to eat in the dining room. The shower was a cold mess, and i expected a room upgrade or some kind of gratuitous gesture after all this inconvenience. Absolutely unacceptable.

    unpredictable shower

Bay Cottage was a lovely spot with fine views of Lough Neagh! Elizabeth’s homemade breakfast, especially the soda bread, was one of the highlights for me. The only hiccup was that the shower temperature was a bit unpredictable. Would definitely go back!

I would be happy to recommend the place. The venue was incredibly beautiful, I enjoyed the stay and the location was lovely near the shore and a lake. Great little and large rooms with books and the bedroom plus beautiful view, had a really lovely experience...

    Nothing for me.

Shower over the bath can be awkward to use!!! Limited public transport options around the area are inconvenient for those without their own car!!! Cold shower water varies unpredictably!!!

    spacious room
    homemade dinner
    soda bread
    cold shower water

The room was spacious, and we loved the generous homemade dinner arranged by Elizabeth-totally delicious! Close to Belfast for a fun day out and scenic walks nearby. Don't miss out on Elizabeth's soda bread for breakfast. It's a perfect spot to unwind before a flight.

One downside was the cold shower water, quite unpredictable. It made for a bit of an awkward morning routine.
